Terms and Conditions for Neurological Physiotherapy Service: Updated February 2024
Thank you for choosing Thorpes Neuro Rehab for your neurological physiotherapy needs. Please carefully read and understand the following terms and conditions governing the provision of our services.
1. Services:
a. Scope of Service:
- Thorpes Neuro Rehab provides neurological physiotherapy and rehabilitation services aimed at improving the physical well-being of individuals with neurological conditions.
b. Professionalism:
- Our staff are qualified professionals committed to providing high-quality care in accordance with professional standards.
2. Appointments:
a. Scheduling:
- Appointments can be scheduled by phone, email, or in person.
- Please provide sufficient notice for cancellations or rescheduling. We retain the right to charge for appointments cancelled with less than 24 hrs notice.
- Should you not be present for an arranged appointment or you decline treatment at the time of your appointment, you will remain liable for the full cost of the allocated session.
- As standard our assessment and treatment sessions are 45 mins, if you are unable to tolerate the full time of the booked session you will still be charged the set fee.
b. Late Arrivals:
- We strive to adhere to the scheduled appointment times. If you arrive late, your session may be shortened to accommodate other appointments.
3. Fees and Payments:
a. Fee Structure:
- Our fees are; Initial clinic assessment £75, initial domiciliary assessment £85, clinic treatment session £67.50, domiciliary treatment session £78. A full list of fees can be provided on request. These are subject to change but you will be notified of any changes via email.
- Any additional services such as attending MDT meetings, writing reports, may incur extra charges.
b. Billing and Insurance:
- Billing information and insurance details must be accurate and provided in a timely manner.
- If you have private health insurance, it is your responsibility to investigate cover and payment details with your healthcare provider before the initial assessment. Evidence for payment through healthcare schemes must be provided before treatment will commence.
4. Confidentiality
a. Privacy Policy:
- Your personal and health information is treated with the utmost confidentiality, as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
b. Communication:
- Discussions with our physiotherapists regarding your health and treatment are private and confidential.
5. Patient Responsibilities:
a. Accuracy of Information:
- You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information about your medical history and current health.
- You are responsible for providing information about any changes in your medical status and medications. You are also responsible for provide information about any other health or care professionals you are working with. This allows us to work collaboratively for your benefit.
b. Follow-up Care:
- Adherence to recommended home exercises and follow-up appointments is essential for optimal results.
6. Termination of Services:
a. Termination by Client:
- You may terminate services at any time but all payment must be made up to date.
b. Termination by Thorpes Neuro Rehab:
- Thorpes Neuro Rehab reserves the right to terminate services if there is a breach of terms or if continued services are not in your best interest.
7. Changes to Terms and Conditions:
Thorpes Neuro Rehab reserves the right to update and modify these terms and conditions. Clients will be notified of any changes through our website or email.
8. Governing Standards:
These terms and conditions are governed by the standards of the Health Professional Council. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through negotiation or, if necessary, legal proceedings in the appropriate jurisdiction.
